Asking for 'Dhaka University - Registrar's Building or VC-sir's office, etc.' will be easier for a Taxi driver or other to guide you. During conference day - 18th Morning - some volunteers will be around to help you out.
Local currency - BD 'Taka' and do not be surprised to see various colors for a same-currency note. Notes are available as - 2, 5, 10, 20, 40, 50, 100, 500, 1000. We also have some coins - 1, 5, etc.
Weather is hot [& may rain a bit - so carry strong umbrella with you] now. Check through Yahoo-Weather.
You must show an ID card/passport/etc. that proves your personal identity and a printed email that depicts that your registration is okay or, that show your paper ID, or related -- and show these in the registration desk - so that the Registration Officers can distribute the materials for you promptly. Registration Desk: 7:30am~9:00am. Earlier is better.
IPS presenters MUST print your poster and carry it during the conference and paste it prior/during your IPS session.
Oral presenters MUST attach the PPT. More details are informed by email.
If your paper is not presented during the sessions - your paper may not be included in the IEEE Digital Library [except a few special extra-ordinary cases that we are informed ahead]. So, one of the co-authors must present during the assigned session.

Buy and carry water bottles and drink enough. Typical food in Bangladesh are - spicy, hot, sometimes oily. Enjoy rice/bread [biriyani, polao, nan, ruti, paratha, etc.] - meat/fish/vege/egg, fruits, various kinds of traditional sweets, etc.
